Shared Mission:

The mission of McKinley Middle School, a diverse learning community with high expectations and ethical values, is to empower all individuals to achieve their unique potential and become life-long learners by providing exploratory and challenging experiences through the shared responsibility of staff, students, family and community.

Shared Objectives:

Individual achievement goals will be identified and successfully completed by 100% of our students.

Annually, all students will participate in meaningful, curriculum-based service learning projects.

All students will consistently demonstrate respectful, responsible and ethical behavior within

our diverse learning comminity.

As a Professional Learning Comminity, McKinley Middle School believes in our collective capacity to create a better future for our school. With passion and persistence, we are committed to becoming an effective school.

We will create a climate that ensures trust through communication, and responsible, respectful, and ethical behavior by everyone.

We will work collaboratively to implement curriculum-based service learning projects.

We will develop a plan to ensure that individual achievement goals are identified and successfully completed by all of our students.

We will ensure that we are using research-based instructional strategies in order to effectively implement District curriculum.
